First off congratulations on your engagement! You are working on planning every detail for the BEST day of your life where you get to marry your absolute best friend in the whole wide world. How awesome is that? I would love to be honored & privileged to be the one you choose to document your wedding day. This day is all about YOU & your future husband (of course). Don’t let anybody have you feeling otherwise. I am here to be more than your photographer- I am here to help be your wedding planner, your friend, your listening ear, and to do anything else you need from me whether it’s pinning your vail, bustling your dress, putting out any last-minute fires. When it comes to capturing your special day, my goal is to document each priceless moment of your wedding day with great focus on the details of the wedding preparation, decorations, ceremony, reception, and everything in between. Emotions speak louder than words & I strive to capture them so that you will cherish for generations to come. During the formal picture times, we will stage fun & engaging poses as well as traditional ones. The rest of the time I will be looking for opportunities to capture candid moments in an unobtrusive way. Each package includes my time as a photographer, editing & retouching of images, + travel up to 1 hour away from Sibley, Iowa.
I offer discounts for weddings booked & paid in full (up to $500.00 select packages!) as well as discounted travel rates for destination weddings or elopements! Do you shoot destination weddings?
Absolutely! I would love to travel for your special day! Travel costs + airfare/mileage can simply be added onto your wedding package so that I can be a part of your wedding. I am looking to cross off a few places from my list so certain locations may be eligible for lower discounts on travel!
Will there be a second shooter?
All my wedding packages, excluding elopements include a second shooter! If you do not want a second shooter, the price will be the same. When booking a wedding I always recommend a second! Two cameras are always better than one and allows for more variety and photographs from different point of views. Casey is my teammate when it comes to being an associate photographer + I used her PERSONALLY at my own wedding. With that being said- If Casey isn’t available to come with me, I have many other photographer friends who I would love to have be an associate photographer with me for your big day!
Can I extend the session on the day of?
If you are wanting to add on extra time for your wedding, please let me know in advance. I will of course do my best to accommodate you day of for your wedding if something comes up unexpected (so try not to stress!). If there is something important for me to capture + your itinerary is running behind- no worries, I got you. The additional charges for running over are listed in your wedding contract.
What kind of gear do you use?
I am a Sony gal! I currently shoot with a AR7IV mirrorless body which has a dual slot! I also use an external on camera flash for use inside/when it’s too dark for natural light.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Absolutely not however I do have a printer in house, and I am able to print up to 13×19. As stated in my contract I can only guarantee prints produced from myself or the lab that I use from my website, but it is definitely not a “must do”. WHCC has AMAZING quality + I also use them personally for all my printing needs. If you need a print release from me + have by accident misplaced yours or need another copy, please just let me know so I can send one to you right away!
